CMM Fixture Plates and Kits
In addition to our many portable CMM arm accessories, MetrologyWorks offers unique fixture plate and fixture kit options to support fixed CMM’s as well. Our fixture plates and fixturing kits are available in ¼”-20, M6, and M8 sizes. All of our fixture plates are hard coat anodized for durability and longevity. We also offer fixture kits compatible with any fixture plate brands, including MetrologyWorks.
Our patented MegaLok modular fixture plates feature an exclusive, modular design to save you time and money with fixture set ups. Unlike other rail-based fixture systems, the MegaLok docking rail-based system does not limit where you are able to dock your fixture plate against the rail. The adjustable hard stops allow the MegaLok plates to be docked along the entire length of the rail, and the keystones enable multiple plates to be positioned in a wide variety of arrays that are specific to your unique parts and applications. The sides of the MegaLok fixture plates are magnetic to provide secure placement against the magnetic steel rails. The MegaLok fixture plate system was designed to save both time and money while offering the flexibility you need. MegaLok fixture plates are stocked with ¼”-20, M6, and M8 threads in three standard sizes.
Our other rail-based fixture plate system, the SpeedSwap Series, also incorporates a movable hard stop to provide flexibility with positioning of fixture plates along the rail. The geometry of the SpeedSwap plates also allows them to be retrofitted into other existing rail based fixture plate systems that you may already be using. Like our exclusive MegaLok system, the SpeedSwap fixture plates are stocked in multiple sizes and are available with ¼”-20, M6, and M8 threads.
For fixed applications, our Grid Plate (GP) series of fixture plates provide a rigid, cost-effective mounting platform for your CMM measurements. Multiple plates may be bolted together using our joint plates for larger, more complex measurement routines. Like the MegaLok and SpeedSwap plates, they are also offered in multiple sizes with ¼”-20, M6, and M8 threads.
Finally, our Bullseye Fixture Kits provide a comprehensive variety of commonly used fixturing to support our MegaLok, SpeedSwap, and Grid Fixture Plates along with any other brand of ¼”-20, M6, and M8 fixture plates. They are designed to allow users to create an array of fixture configurations that are specific to the unique parts and assemblies that need to be inspected on their CMM’s.
